Since 2011 it has been chosen as World Art Day on April 15th, the anniversary of the birth of Leonardo da Vinci, one of the most eclectic artists: painter, scientist, engineer, architect, set designer, mechanic, musician and writer.
Al lover the world is celebrated the art and everyone can participate; usually cities like Florence offered events, parties, free museums and conferences giving the opportunity to everyone to know their cultural and artistic heritage, but this year because of the pandemic all artists can share images of contemporary and modern works only through the web, with the logo of the AIAP International Association of Art at the same time with UNESCO they work with international cooperation of artists from all countries.
Even my shop is usually open for a demonstration of the art of ceramics especially to show the secrets of crafting objects according to the ancient tradition of handmade but this year you will have to settle for the site, completely renovated with many sections dedicated to the history, processing and production of ceramics of Montelupo Fiorentino, we hope to make it known more and more worldwide!
