Florence and Tuscany in the yellow zone: are you ready?

We have been waiting for this moment for a long time and finally Tuscany and Florence return to the yellow zone, museums, libraries and shops reopen to the public; restaurants and bars only those who have outdoor tables.

The situation is improving, continues with vaccines but it takes a lot of caution and responsibility on the part of all, do not let your guard down and do not forget the anti-covid rules as distancing and masks.

The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and Brunelleschi’s Dome are open, on May 16 also the Giotto’s Bell Tower and the Opera del Duomo museum will reopen, Pitti Palace and the Uffizi from May 4. It is better to book on line if you plan to visit them on weekends because access will be possible with limited number of people, while the Baptistery is closed for restoration.

From tomorrow the garden of Boboli reopens, an open-air museum that with its paths between plants and flowers, caves, fountains and sculptures will accompany us with its charm; an obligatory stop at the Limonaia with its vases made by craftsman to contain citrus plants, thanks to the Medici who were the first to spread the fashion of citrus fruits in the gardens.

At this point of your walk you must stop in our Gallery of ceramics where you will find in our ceramic designs all the colors and fruits very rapresentative of this region so beloved.

We are waiting for you, the shop is open from Monday to Sunday 10.00 to 6:00 p.m. and in the meantime if you want take a look at our web site renovated with new shapes and decorations!
