The water of San Giovanni between legend and reality!

This year I also prepared the water of San Giovanni, to revive an ancient tradition linked to the Feast of San Giovanni Battista and the legend of the water of San Giovanni. In many areas in Italy the night between 23 and 24 June is considered a magical night,  which coincides almost with the summer solstice, in which many propitiatory rites were performed to ward off adverse events that could ruin the harvest.
