Ceramic spoon rest

When I saw this beautiful piece at Galleria Ponte Vecchio, it stood out as the perfect remembrance of our trip through Tuscany. As a functional addition to my kitchen, I use it as a resting place for my spoon while I cook meals traditional to the Tuscany region, and when scrambling eggs for breakfast. Everytime I use it I am reminded of my trip to Italy, which was capstoned by my visit to Florence and Galleria Ponte Vecchio. Its large size perfectly accommodates any of my cooking utensils. However, it would also be beautiful as a treasured piece of artwork mounted on the wall, if you prefer. No need to worry about carrying it home, as they expertly pack and ship their items anywhere. This piece really brought Tuscany home for me.
